For the 2021 Festival, which was entirely online, we created York Loves Shakespeare – an Instagram project in which a selection of York people shared their favourite line from a Shakespeare play, and were photographed by John Saunders in a York location that had meaning for them and for their chosen quote. We liked the project so much that we decided to turn it into a book, and you’re invited to come and join us, and meet the people who made it. There’ be readings and stories from those who took part.
